Sept 7th Board meeting

Thank you to the approx. 40 teachers who came in their red t-shirts. We need to get you on camera, but you could certainly be heard at the conclusion of Jeannette's FCEA report to the board (1:22:40 on the youTube recording). According to the Board their were no comments from the public and hopefully we can increase both the number of teachers in the room and speaking and give our school board members some reading material when the next board meeting occurs on Sept. 21st. Keep an eye on the Monday Newsletter, also posted in the News section of the blog, for additional information about bargaining and upcoming board meetings. If members are not happy with the compensation offer from the district it will only be changed when we work collectively to send that message to the district and school board.
