• [6:33] G1:  Secondary Spotlight:  Mills Middle School.  Student leaders Noelle andAnabalikada shared their campus life in action - in academics, activities, and athletics.  Check the ppt for lots of pictures and insight into the Mustang’s school culture.  PPT

• [13:49] G2:  CTE Summer Successes and Program Highlights.  Kudos to Shanan Spears, CTE Coordinator, and her team for their hard work.  Teachers Rachael R, Brittany V, and Pablo C shared their students' achievements along with Drew B and Dawn P from FHS and Brennan A from Kinney HS.  We have students with a video that will be showcased in Times Square in October, Students medaling at state and national levels at SkillsUSA.  The summer Preceptorship program placed 71 students at 21 business/community partners representing 8 industry sectors.  Please take some time to see the full powerpoint to celebrate the work of our students and staff.  PPT

• [57:08] L1:  Resolution re-Screen Time:  The resolution demonstrates the District’s commitment to balanced, purposeful, and developmentally appropriate use of technology in teaching and learning.  It also highlights the District’s commitment to work in partnership with teachers and other certificated staff as we continue to refine our practices.  PDF

• [1:10:12] L2:  Resolutions regarding Vocational English as a Second Language and ELL grant to assist refugees to acquire language and literacy skills to transition to long-term self sufficiency.  FCUSD Adult School, FCAS, and the Sacramento Employment and Training Agency (SETA) are partnering to execute the grants.   • Enrollment has declined dramatically since 2023, hopefully due in part to work at the sites to assist students in earning lost credits during the school year.

  • This year summer school was taught via direct instruction instead of APEX except for Seniors.  Twenty-seven additional  seniors graduated and walked in the June 26th ceremony.
