FCEA News for the week of May 12th

Thank you for all you do for your students, we appreciate you. FCEA is all of us. While teacher appreciation week was last week, supporting our colleagues and students is everyday so please consider saying an extra thank you to sites reps or other colleague/mentors that have supported you this year.

In the bargaining report, we have FCEA's counter to the district's last offer. Economic conditions are not improving, but to offset some of the changes designed to help the district get to yes see the two new non-monetary items we've added that are designed to address member concerns about the staggering workload you face. Please continue to wear the fcea t-shirts's (or black) on Thursdays. If you can come to this Thursday's board meeting, just being silently present in our common gear during the first part of the meeting will help us keep up the pressure as we see if we can wrap up the TA before summer.
