COVID Update

I hope this finds you all healthy and rested after the break! I know there is a lot happening right now and things are changing rapidly (again!!). I wanted to give you the information that I have at this time. It's just a starting point and more clarification should be coming from the district soon.

COVID Testing and Quarantine

With so many people testing right now, test kits are hard to find. I have encouraged the district to set up additional times, but have not heard anything back. This link has the sites in Sacramento County that are testing for the rest of the week: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5629b010e4b0cef6a96e7271/t/6131111184cfdc1030b67979/1630605587473/COLLAB.Testing.Map.081821.Revised.pdf TUESDAYS Cordova Neighborhood Church

The state is distributing tests for students to all districts. Ours will come from SCOE to FCUSD and then be sent to sites for distribution. I don't have a timeline yet, but have heard that SCOE has received a portion of the test kits. Please note that student testing is voluntary at this time. Quarantine requirements will be changing very soon. Those who test positive will be able to return after 5 days, if they no longer have symptoms and provide a negative test. At this time, the district is still working under the 10 day quarantine, but will be implementing this change soon. Watch for the emails from Angela Griffin's office for further updates.

Decision Forest

Just for reference, here is the decision forest as of November 9, 2021. Until further notice, this is what the district is following. Decision Forest (November 9, 2021) Also, here is the current staff decision tree for staff close contacts.
